About Bianca
Made in Italy, my life has known no boundaries: I have lived and worked on 3 different continents and visited 50+ countries.
I am a former speed ski athlete and In 2017 I was Vice World Champion in Women's Speed Downhill Skiing (167 kph) on the Italian National Team.
I am passionate about innovation, female empowerment, emerging markets, sustainability and outdoor sports.
I have more than 7 years of experience in the world of innovation and entrepreneurship. I have worked as Head of Innovation for an Italian accelerator and Improvement Lead for a Swiss investment fund, living between Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. Recently I have been working as a moderator for lifestyle events across Switzerland.

In 2022 I founded Sisters Founders, the first Italian community of women entrepreneurs, now counting 100+ members.
We are entrepreneurs who choose to be sisters.
We are here to support each other, cooperate, be honest and innovate through reciprocity.
We have dinner once a month to celebrate our successes and share our challenges.

In 2020 I founded Girls Went Out, a platform and community for women to support each other to get out of our comfort zone through sports in nature.
Together is better: We believe the path for women to change the world is built by supporting one another.
Building on the reality of the shared experience of womanhood, we want to create a female community to support and push each other to face our fears and take control of our reality.
GWO is a safe environment to grow, unlearn what we’ve been taught which doesn’t fit us, and push each other to overcome our limits.
We believe that the magic happens out of our comfort zone. Together, we push each other to take the risk to go there and repeat the process in any life situation in which we feel stuck.
We want to free ourselves from gender bias, be our own idols and risk and surprise ourselves.
We want to achieve our goals through the creation of a strong female community, outdoor sports and travel.
My mission
My biggest passion is travelling and launching myself into new adventures: I have lived in Europe, South America and Africa. My experiences abroad fostered in me an international perspective.
I believe in innovation and in technology as a way of changing the world and people's lives, I believe in the disruption of old systems that no longer work, I believe in ideas, but much more in the people who turn them into action.
I have worked in the world of innovation and I was involved in helping entrepreneurs in Africa develop their ideas and identify the company’s strategy. I believe that technology and entrepreneurship can have a great impact on the lives of people in emerging markets.

Standing Up for the Planet
45 stories of extraordinary women who are changing the world
This year, I wrote a chapter for the book “Standing up for the Planet” by Una Terra Ventures.
The book presents stories of sustainability, from small startups to large corporations, and tells the experiences of women who have decided to dedicate their time and personal resources to try to save our world, through pivotal changes in their lives.
It is published by Bocconi University and is now available for purchase.
